Great News!

    Saturday, March 24, 2007, 04:16 AM [General]

Copied from my MySpace...there are folks here that probably would like to hear this...and feel free to share.  :)

I have to keep this short...my Otter is sleeping next to me, and I promised I'd go to bed soon. :)

WE KNOW WHAT'S REALLY WRONG WITH ME! All these months of trying, and doctors, and tests, and surgeries, and so forth. Doctors giving up, and no one REALLY sure. And now we know. And the winner is...

    Several things.

    Of course. :)

First, I have a severe candida overgrowth. We knew that. I tried the cleanse...several times. Had issues past day 3. Drove me crazy. Doctor finally told me there was no way to be succesful without building up the other issues going on...

Second, my body is depleted. Of everything. *laugh* Hormones, cortisol, vitamins, you name it! So I got an IV called a Myers Push, which consists of magnesium, calcium, B vitamins, and vitamin C. I'll have another one next week, and then another in two weeks. I'm going on a new medication from Thiland that is supposed to jumpstart my hormones. If that doesn't work, then I go on BioIdentical HRT and DIM (which absorbs the excess HRT to decrease the chance of cancer, which runs rampant in my family).

Third, of course 11 food allergies, none of which cause those symptoms like anaphalactic shock or anything. Bread is permanently off my diet however. *laugh* I'm VERY allergic to yeast, and mildly allergic to wheat and sugar, which makes bread a big no no. Ah well. I'm losing weight, so my old clothes are starting to fit again. Woo hoo!

Fourth, I have a heavy metal build up in my system, which they can't flush until my body is built up. Same issue with candida...you need to be in a position to have some of your energy taken away, and if you have none to begin with, your in big trouble. So, that will come at the end.

So, solutions underway. I'm also having surgery on April 2nd for a nerve and muscle biopsy. To see if the Guillian Barre is gone, and if there is any damage basically. We all expect to see normal results, so don't worry. All is well, it's just a precaution. I mean, if I get a starting role in something, I'd LIKE to know that I"m not going to get sick again because there is already a problem. Right? ;)

On an even better note, I have the best agent in town, Marissa, who is sending me on all kinds of fun calls. Only a small extra in Kids in America with Topher Grace for right now. It's a start. More stuff WILL come. Of that, I'm sure.

In the mean time, I'm writing a couple of books. One is a kids book, the other is not. (Well, it's not an 'adult' book either, just not a childrens....oh, you know what I mean.) In the last few years, I've had a lot of my writing read, and many people have encouraged me to write. So, I'm working on it. :)

For those that may ask, YES, I'm bringing Arthur back. If you've read some of my online work, you'll remember Arthur, and I hope that's a good thing. :)

Oh, and I saw a couple of movies. The Shooter (Of COURSE. I'm mean, it IS Mark Wahlberg. Great actor, love his stuff!) and The Prestige. To obvious for me. I had that one figured out too early. *sigh* Great acting, I just wanted the suspense a while longer. Maybe I've seen too many of these, but I've yet to see a movie of that nature (Sixth Sense, etc) where I don't catch on right away. I suspect being in the industry has something to do with it. (The sweatshirt in Sixth Sense tripped it up for me. I knew there was a reason the costumer would put the guy in the same sweatshirt...after that it was only seconds before I figured out what was going on.) Still need to see 300, though I hear the dialogue is weak. It's still something I think needs to be seen IN the theater. Eragon tomorrow night. (Love my Netflix!)

See Professor Ellis, I AM doing my homework. *laugh* And if you're reading this, then apparently, so are you. *wink*

And yes, this IS short...for me! (EEEK!! My books are destined for Harry Potter lengths. Hopefully at least a portion of the fame.) :)

Be great! And have a great time doing it!
    C~

    Welcome

    Friday, March 2, 2007, 01:13 PM [General]

I find myself wondering what the heck I'm thinking!  I mean, I don't have time for MySpace, much less RENspace!  *laugh*

I guess I'll keep my personal stuff on MySpace, and my ren life here.

I'm picky about my friends, so if I don't already know you, and you ask to be put on my friends list...please don't be offended when I ask you why.  I am tired of the "hey, you're hot, wanna hook up?" emails and the like.  SO, if you want that, don't look here.

*sigh*  I shouldn't have to say that, but there it is.

    Ok, now then....*laugh*

I feel old.  10 years ago, I'd have been flattered by that sort of thing.  Now, it just irritates me. On the other hand, I have the best man in the world.  :D  So who needs a hook up?

I'm looking forward to doing a few new faires this year.  Like Minnesota. (It's a dream, but maybe one that will come true this year.) And Louisianna.  I'm still doing Arizona (as available), and a few others that I like to hit in the area and California.  We'll see how my health is.  :)

Ok, time to find some trim for my court garb.  This weekend we're trying a new bit, and I need to spiffy up my garb.  I'll try to post some pictures of the weekend.  Ta!
